Grow a Chicken Fighter Egg Tier List

This page is the Grow a Chicken Fighter egg tier list: a ranking of the game's eggs โ€” Thunder, Nest, Scratch, Royal, Void and event eggs โ€” by early value and hatch priority. It is built from verified code rewards, the in-game Egg Index, and community-observed laying chains in the Roblox experience by Sergio Verse Games (checked 12 August 2026). The game publishes no hatch percentages, so every figure here is either code-verified or marked TBC (to be confirmed).

How this list is ranked

The grades below answer "which egg should I open right now?", not "which egg has the highest mythical rate". S means the best early access plus power for your first hour of Pit fights and flock building; A means strong once your cash flow and laying loops are stable; B means situational or event value; C means low early priority. The in-game Egg Index is the only place that shows what an egg can actually hatch today, so it is the final authority โ€” if the Index on your account disagrees with this list, trust the Index.

One more honesty rule: no hatch odds appear anywhere on this page. Community sites that publish exact percentages for these eggs are inventing numbers the game does not expose, and treating those as fact is the fastest way to waste cash.

Why published egg lists disagree

Search results for this keyword currently show two completely different lists, and you should know why before trusting either. One wiki (grow-a-chicken-fighter-wiki.wiki) ranks eggs with names like Mythical Phoenix Egg, Thunder God Rooster Egg, Iron Plume Gladiator Egg and Shadow Striker Egg, complete with base stats, passive traits, IV ranges and level-1-to-50 growth tables. None of those names or numbers appear in any other source, and none of them can be tied to a code reward or an observed drop โ€” treat that entire roster and every figure in it as TBC.

The list below instead uses egg names corroborated by verified code rewards: WELCOME grants a Nest Egg, LETMECOOK a Thunder Egg, SERGIOVERSE a Scratch Egg and 40KCCU a Blazing Egg, as documented by Eurogamer and Pocket Tactics on 12 August 2026. Community walkthroughs of the Egg Index show the same family of names (Royal, Void, Cursed and event eggs), which is why this ranking follows that evidence.

S-tier (provisional): the code eggs

Thunder Egg

S-tier (provisional) ยท early powerS

โš™๏ธ Free path via code LETMECOOK (verified). Guide footage repeatedly opens Thunder first and shows strong pulls, including legendary results โ€” no fixed rate claimed, TBC.

The default first hatch. Because the code hands it to you for free, its early power funds the Feeder, Recycler and Tower readiness faster than spending soft cash on random shop eggs. That head start is the entire reason it sits at the top of an early-value list.

code eggearly powerLETMECOOK
  • First-hour PIT damage
  • Funding early upgrades

Nest Egg

S-tier (provisional) ยท flock fillS

โš™๏ธ Free path via code WELCOME (verified). Community reports early laying behaviour โ€” confirm live pools in the Egg Index, TBC.

The flock builder. Hatching Nest Eggs early fills your roster and starts laying loops, which feed every later project. Written sources note it as a starter-layer egg; what it can hatch today depends on the current Index pool.

code egglayersWELCOME
  • Filling the flock
  • Starting lay loops

Scratch Egg

S-tier (provisional) ยท pool diversityS

โš™๏ธ Free path via code SERGIOVERSE (verified). Also the observed source of NPC chick (see the Cursed Egg chain below) โ€” hatch rate video-reported, TBC.

The diversifier. Opening Scratch Eggs early widens your hatch pool beyond the Nest family, and it stays valuable after the first hour because it is the observed route to NPC chicks. Community Index walkthroughs report mid-egg laying chains from it as well.

code eggpool diversitySERGIOVERSE
  • Diversifying the hatch pool
  • Farming NPC chicks

A-tier (provisional): the climb targets

Royal Egg

A-tier (provisional) ยท mid progressionA

โš™๏ธ Observed in gameplay footage; no published odds (TBC).

The mid-game chase. Royal Eggs climb in priority once your cash loop is stable โ€” Pit wins feel automatic and the Feeder and Recycler are funded โ€” and the Egg Index shows a pool you actually want. Before that point they are a bank-drain, not an upgrade.

progressioncash-gated
  • Mid-game chase once cash is stable

Void Egg

A-tier (provisional) ยท late rarityA

โš™๏ธ Observed; some fighters are reported to lay Void Eggs โ€” community-observed only, TBC.

The long-term rarity target. Void Eggs matter once a laying trait or Index chain makes them reachable without emptying your reserves. Fighters reported to lay Void are community observations, so verify the hover text in your own Index before committing.

B and C: event eggs and shop spam

Blazing Egg (event-style)

B-tier (provisional)B

โš™๏ธ Granted by code 40KCCU (verified, added 12 August 2026); treated as an event-style timed egg by the community.

Event eggs only outrank Royal and Void while their window is live and you can afford them without cutting Pit upgrades. The Blazing Egg currently arrives through a code rather than a shop timer, which makes it free value โ€” the B label applies to paying for event-style eggs, not to redeeming 40KCCU. A "Growth Egg" appears in one guide as retired or unobtainable; that label stays TBC until an Index confirms it.

event egg40KCCU
  • Timed-event value

Random shop eggs

C-tier (provisional)C

โš™๏ธ Soft-cash purchases with unverified pools.

Buying shop eggs "just in case" steals the upgrade money that makes the better eggs affordable. The community guidance is blunt: open them only from surplus after the Feeder and Recycler are funded, and never as the core loop.

shopmoney drain
  • Surplus spending only

The Cursed Egg chain

One YouTube guide documents a full Cursed Egg farm, and every number in it is video-reported (TBC). The chain: NPC chick hatches from a Scratch Egg with a reported 12% chance, and each NPC chick then has a reported 80% chance to lay a Cursed Egg. More NPC chicks means more 80% rolls per cycle, so the farm scales with duplicates rather than levels.

The full progression order from the same video: start with Nest Eggs, aim to pull Cosmo Chicken or Farmer Chicken, use that stage of progression to reach Scratch Eggs, hatch as many as possible for NPC chicks, then run those chicks as your Cursed Egg layer. Verify both percentages in your own game before building around them.

Hatch order for your first session

  1. Redeem WELCOME, LETMECOOK and SERGIOVERSE โ€” the three code eggs come free.
  2. Hatch every Thunder, Nest and Scratch Egg before buying anything from the shop.
  3. Compare the fighter cards you pulled and deploy the strongest into the Pit.
  4. Open the Egg Index before any paid hatch batch and check the live pools.
  5. Keep a soft-cash floor for Feeder and Recycler before touching Royal or Void.

After the free hatches, do not auto-sell every pull: keep your best Pit earner deployed and park duplicates as future fusion donors. That habit is what turns a lucky first hour into a stable account.

Use the Egg Index before spending

The Egg Index is the only live source of hatch pools, and it is what separates this list from guesswork. If a pool matches a chicken you need, hatch a small surplus batch; if not, switch eggs or farm a laying trait instead of forcing it. After every patch, re-open the Index before buying โ€” yesterday's screenshot is not evidence. And if an egg is S here but its current pool is useless to you, skip it: the grades are early-value labels, not mandates.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best egg early?

Thunder, Nest and Scratch from the codes are the early S picks. Hatch all three before spending cash on shop eggs.

Are the S and A grades drop rates?

No. Grades mean early value and progression priority. Exact hatch percentages are unpublished โ€” anything claiming a fixed rate is invented, TBC.

Where do the free eggs come from?

Codes: WELCOME gives a Nest Egg, LETMECOOK a Thunder Egg, SERGIOVERSE a Scratch Egg, and 40KCCU a Blazing Egg โ€” see the codes page for redemption steps.

How do I get Cursed Eggs?

The community method is hatching NPC chicks from Scratch Eggs and using their reported 80% laying chance. Both figures are video-reported โ€” verify in-game, TBC.

Is this list official?

No. It is a fan-made early-value ranking for the game by Sergio Verse Games, last checked 12 August 2026 against code rewards and Egg Index observations.
