Why published egg lists disagree
Search results for this keyword currently show two completely different lists, and you should know why before trusting either. One wiki (grow-a-chicken-fighter-wiki.wiki) ranks eggs with names like Mythical Phoenix Egg, Thunder God Rooster Egg, Iron Plume Gladiator Egg and Shadow Striker Egg, complete with base stats, passive traits, IV ranges and level-1-to-50 growth tables. A "Growth Egg" appears in one guide as retired or unobtainable; that label stays TBC until an Index confirms it.

Buying shop eggs "just in case" steals the upgrade money that makes the better eggs affordable. The community guidance is blunt: open them only from surplus after the Feeder and Recycler are funded, and never as the core loop.

The Cursed Egg chain
One YouTube guide documents a full Cursed Egg farm, and every number in it is video-reported (TBC). The chain: NPC chick hatches from a Scratch Egg with a reported 12% chance, and each NPC chick then has a reported 80% chance to lay a Cursed Egg. More NPC chicks means more 80% rolls per cycle, so the farm scales with duplicates rather than levels.
The full progression order from the same video: start with Nest Eggs, aim to pull Cosmo Chicken or Farmer Chicken, use that stage of progression to reach Scratch Eggs, hatch as many as possible for NPC chicks, then run those chicks as your Cursed Egg layer. Verify both percentages in your own game before building around them.
